Ric Morgan
My name is Ric Morgan and I have been the founder of 21 corporations and three nonprofit organizations.
For legal help I suggest:
1. Contact the local association for attorneys and get a list of names of lawyers practicing in your area that specialize to fit your needs.
The association will give you a list and wont ake recommendations of individual lawyers.
2. Do a little homework and find out who is best on the list based on recommendations of clients and others who know about one attorney or
another.
3. Contact the attorneys and make sure they are licensed and certified to handle the type of business you need to do. Many lawyers are not certified in specialties. They may advertise they do what you need done, but stick with those who have gone to the trouble to get certified.
4. Make an appointment to meet with them to see if they are willing to do the business you need done. Usually this initial meeting is free or low cost. Be sure to ask their fees.
5. Dont tell them you are just shopping for the right attorney, but my advice is to meet with two or three before making a decision.
6. Once you have made a decision make another appointment with them and remember to bring all necessary documentation with you. They will want make copies for their file. At this meeting tell them you have decided to hire them, and ask what kind of strategy they plan to take on your behalf. Some things can be done inexpensively on the web, and are just as legal and a lot less expensive.
